DOCTORS WITH AFRICA COMO onlus - Comocuamm considers the user's privacy very important and undertakes to respect it within the terms provided by the applicable regulations (Legislative Decree 30 June 2003 n. 196, hereinafter "Code" and Regulations ( EU) 2016/679, hereinafter "Regulation").
This document provides information on the processing of personal data collected by Doctors with Africa Como onlus through this website (hereinafter "Site") and therefore constitutes information to those who access it, in accordance with the aforementioned regulations. The purpose of the privacy policy is to provide maximum transparency regarding the information that the website www.mediciconlafricacomo.org collects and how it uses it.

Data processing. Type of data. During the treatments, the owner may become aware of personal data provided in any case spontaneously by Users when they interact with the functionality of the Site or request to use the services offered on the Site. Such data can be:

Purpose of the treatments. The processing of personal data carried out by the owner pursues purposes strictly related and instrumental to the contacts activated through the Site. The purposes of the processing are related to implementing:
to donations in favor of the owner and to maintain contact with the same in order to update the institutional activities carried out also thanks to the donations received;
to subscriptions to participate in solidarity and awareness events / initiatives, to requests to receive newsletters / periodicals, e-mails, SMS, updates of international cooperation programs and other initiatives and activities of the owner;
to requests for collaborations.
Lawfulness of processing. The processing of personal data is lawful if:
the interested party has given consent to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes;
the processing is necessary for the execution of a service or a contract of which the interested party is a party or for the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the same;
the processing is necessary for the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the data controller or third parties, provided that the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject that require the protection of personal data do not prevail, in particular if the data subject is a minor.
Processing methods. The processing will take place with computer / automated and paper / manual systems designed to store, manage and transmit the data, with logic strictly related to the purposes outlined above, by persons specifically appointed to do so. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access to the same.
Communication and dissemination of data. The data will be processed by personnel appointed by the owner. Without prejudice to any communications to comply with legal obligations, Doctors with Africa Como onlus will communicate personal data provided by visitors only to suppliers selected to support the requested service: banking institutions, for the management of collections and payments, including remote electronic payment service providers; consultants and collaborators appointed to provide (by way of example) assistance in tax, accounting and legal matters, it being understood that these subjects will not in turn communicate user data to third parties. There is no possibility of disclosing the data to indeterminate subjects.
Data retention. The data is stored on servers located within the European Union. The retention period of the personal data of the interested party is limited to the duration necessary for the execution of the request or the contact received through the Site and in any case strictly related to the specific purpose of the processing.
For the purposes related to contacts with donors and in the context of raising awareness of the institutional activities and initiatives / events promoted by the owner, the data retention period coincides with the express request for interruption / cancellation of their data by the interested party.
For the purposes related to relations with suppliers, the retention period is 10 years starting from the termination of the relationship; the personal data may be processed for a longer period if an interruption and / or suspension of the prescription that justifies the extension of the treatment intervenes.
Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.
Further information and rights of the interested party. For the purposes of a correct and transparent treatment, we inform you that the interested party;
can obtain confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning him;
may ask the data controller to access personal data and to update, correct, integrate or delete them or limit their processing or to oppose their processing, also for the purpose of sending institutional material of the owner, except for the legitimate interest in processing by the owner himself;
the interested party has the right to the portability of his personal data if this is possible with reference to the purposes of the processing;
if the processing of personal data is based on consent, the interested party (or whoever has parental authority) can revoke the consent at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the treatment based on the consent given before the revocation;
the interested party can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority;
the provision by the interested party of personal data is in any case spontaneous. The provision of the aforementioned data is totally optional and strictly related to the purposes indicated above. The provision of data is mandatory if connected to the execution of a contract. In case of refusal to provide the data or to consent to their treatment or to their communication, it is impossible to provide the information or services requested or the execution of the contract;
personal data will not be profiled, except for the purposes connected to donations and to the communication and awareness activities of the owner's initiatives in order to be able to assess the degree of interest and participation of the interested parties in the activities of the owner.

The owner is not responsible for the personal data that the User shares in the Facebook, Youtube, and the owner's platforms made available to expand the sharing of content and initiatives, and which could be improperly processed by third parties.
